Friday to Sunday September 11th to 13th

Pubs with no Beer: A walking tour of closed pubs. Not as daft as it seems, this is our contribution to Heritage Open Days weekend, the national event full of free things to do.

We have organised two tours: one from the New Oxford, Bexley Square at 15:00 visiting former and current pubs, breweries and more, and the other looking at Ancoats starting from the Crown & Kettle, New Cross at 18:00. Chance of a decent ale before and after - well, we do finish in a live pub. Both tours will run daily, last about 90 minutes and cover about 2 miles. Bring an internet-connected device to get access to a large number of relevant photos illustrating the lost pubs and street scenes while you are in their original location.
